Cheesy Breadsticks | Homemade Cheesy Breadsticks - Cheesy Breadsticks Pizza Hut
Cheesy breadsticks These Cheesy breadsticks are one of my favorites. They are super easy to make and these homemade breadsticks beat the taste of the restaurant one. I usually make them using my leftover pizza dough if it's not enough to make one large pizza. But this time even though I had enough dough to make one large pizza I just divided into half and used it to make these breadsticks. Ingredients 1 medium ball of pizza dough 1 cup of mozzarella cheese Oregano to taste Olive oil as required For the sauce: Pizza Sauce (I had pizza sauce so I used it but pasta sauce or tomato sauce works perfectly fine as well) Chilli Garlic Sauce (Optional) Salt and Pepper to taste Basil leaves 3-4 (Optional) Add Everything together and set aside. Directions for the breadsticks: On a clean surface sprinkle some all purpose flour and cornmeal so the dough doesn't stick at the bottom. Roll out the dough in a rectangular shape. Cut it into thin 1 inch wide and 3 inch long strips. Line a baking sheet (tray) with parchment paper. Grease it with some oil and place the dough strips on it. Sprinkle some oregano (If you want you can add onion and garlic powder as well) then some cheese and oregano again and place it into a preheated oven at 450 F for 15-20 minutes. Mine took this long because I used a toaster oven for that. In the regular oven, it will hardly take 5-8 minutes at 475-500 F. I recommend doing it in the regular oven because higher temperature yields better breadsticks also I don't like waiting too long for something that simple. Take it out and separate the breadsticks.
